For four years Jim Simpkins patrolled the sidelines at all WSU Cougar home athletic events, serving as the Athletic Department's lead photographer and dark room technician. He was without question one of the best student photographers I have hired in nearly 30 years at WSU and he has continued to sharpen his skills since graduating in 1981.
